WHAT TO REPORT:
1. No access to fresh water. With temperatures below 0, water will be frozen solid.
2. Improper and uncared for sick and injured dogs.
3. Lack of shelter or non-insulated shelter.
4. Insufficient space from their own filth.

I worked with working dogs for two decades now and across all industries, once these dogs reach the end of their working life, uh, it's inevitable that they have to go somewhere. And there are retirement practices in some industries for certain dogs, but sled dogs are typically KILLED.

Ban Dog Tethering

Dogs are CHAINED 24/7 and only taken off their chain to pull a sled.

Dogs are worked until they are too old or injured. SHOT when they are no longer useful.

Old dogs do not get a happy retirement, they stay on the chain until they die.

The dogs are not protected from the weather, with no access to water most of the time.

Freezing cold or scorching heat, they have a plastic barrel or thin wooden box to keep them warm.
